The Hyderabad Association shares in the deep sorrow following the untimely passing of Mohammed Salaman Khan, a young and promising student from Hyderabad. His loss has left a profound void in our community. His sudden loss has brought deep sadness to everyone who knew him, and his absence will be felt for a long time. The arrangements for his funeral and repatriation were made possible through the support of his family, friends, and the wider Hyderabad community. Their efforts show the love, respect, and admiration he earned during his life.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought challenges that the world had never seen before, and during this difficult period, the Hyderabad Association stepped forward with remarkable dedication. Their timely efforts provided essential support to international students and local residents who were deeply affected by the strict lockdowns and uncertainty.

As movement restrictions increased, many students found themselves without access to basic necessities, proper guidance, or a support system. Local families also struggled with job losses, limited transportation, and fear of the unknown. Recognizing these needs, the Hyderabad Association quickly organized food distribution drives, arranged grocery deliveries, and ensured that essential items reached those who needed them most.

The Hyderabad Association recently organized its Annual Iftar, a gathering that many in the community look forward to every year. The event brought together people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan in an atmosphere filled with warmth, unity, and gratitude. It was not just a dinner, but a meaningful reminder of the values that Ramadan teaches us—kindness, patience, and generosity.

From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with friendly smiles and a sense of belonging. The venue was filled with the aroma of traditional dishes, and people enjoyed a wide variety of flavorful foods prepared with great care. The evening was filled with lively conversations, laughter, and the joy of reconnecting with old friends while welcoming new ones into the community.
